What is your favorite fall pie?? I was thinking and thinking which pie I like the most, and I tried to pick only one, but, unfortunately, failed to do that. Then I decided that I have my top 10 favorite pies, which in one way or another are associated with fall season. This list especially comes in handy, when you want a piece of tasty, soft, fragrant pie with a cup of tea or coffee.
Although now I live in Florida again (still can’t get enough of sun) and it really doesn’t feel like fall over here, but, still, fall season to me is always associated with evaporating pies, no matter where I am. So, it doesn’t matter what is the temperature outside, if I decide I want a pie – I go to the kitchen and depending what kind of ingredients I have in my kitchen, I bake some delicious pie. One of the main pies I bake during the fall season is undoubtedly an apple pie. I like these pies, both moist and sponge like. Depending on the mood and what kind of pie you want on that particular day. Of course, while living in America, I’ve used to bake American-style pies from time to time, which my husband really enjoys. I also often miss farmer’s cheese pies, so these ones I make at least once a month.
After you take a look at my favorite fall pies, perhaps you will find your favorite one, and if not, I highly recommend to try the recipes – all of the pies are absolutely delicious 🙂

5. Apple Cake with Sweet Yogurt / Obuolių pyragas su saldžiu jogurtu

7. American Apple Pie / Amerikietiškas obuolių pyragas
8. Condensed Milk Cake / Kondensuoto pieno pyragas

i love all of them, i do have some similar recipes, and will definitely try the ones I don’t know. By curd, you mean tworog (farmer cheese)? And whereabouts in Florida are you? We are on South Beach.

Yep, I meant farmer cheese :)) We use a lot of it in Lithuania, it’s my favorite too, especially for baking or cooking. I’m in Kendall area 🙂 Not that far apart!

I make my own non-dairy tworog, from non-dairy soy prostokvasha that I also make myself. It comes out a little watery, but good enough for baking.
Any time you want to hang out on South Beach, just let me know. We’ll be happy to have some face time!
