I’m not a big fan of pear desserts, but this tart is so delicious and crispy that after you try one piece, you want to repeat one more and one more, and etc… The tart preparation is quite simple, even for those who don’t bake any cakes or pies. And you only need a few ingredients – puff pastry, pears, sugar and cream cheese. If you don’t have walnuts – no problem, even without them, your tart will be perfectly delicious.
I find this tart the most tasty when it’s still warm and the edges are crispy. Besides, if you have ice cream in the freezer, then excellent dessert is guaranteed. I think there would be no shame to treat your guests with such dessert.
P. S. Remember to use ripe pears since hard pears may not soften sufficiently when the tart is baked.
Delicious!!!
{10 servings}
Ingredients:
450-500 g (15-17 oz) frozen puff pastry
225g (8 oz) cream cheese
100 g (1/2 cup) white sugar
40 g (1.5 oz or one handful) chopped walnuts
5 medium sized ripe pears
2 1/2 tbsp. light brown sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
1/3 tbsp. nutmeg powder
Preparation:
- Allow the dough to defrost at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Mix cream cheese with white sugar and vanilla sugar (or extract) using an electric mixer.
- Preheat the oven to 200 C (400 F).
- Roll the dough lightly on a floured surface. I baked 2 tarts, each measuring about 20×27 cm (8×11 inches). You can also bake one large tart. Score the pastry about 3/4-inch from the edges all the way around (be careful not to cut all the way through the pastry). Then, as the dough rises, the dough itself will form the edges around your tart.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly on the tart (just don’t apply on the edges).
- Peel the pears, remove the seeds and cut them into thin slices. Mix pears with brown sugar, cinnamon and lay it out nicely on the tart. Then sprinkle with walnuts and place tarts in the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes (depending on the heat of the oven) until the edges of the tart are nicely browned. Remove tarts from the oven, leave to cool for a couple of minutes and serve.

Man tarta skaniausia dar šilta, kuomet jos krašteliai traškūs. Tiesa, jei turite šaldiklyje ledų, tuomet idealus desertas garantuotas. Tokiu desertu ir svečius pavaišinti nebūtų gėda.
P. S. Nepamirškite naudoti minkštas kriaušes, kadangi kietos kriaušės gali bekepant pakankamai nesuminkštėti.
Skanaus!!!
{10 porcijų}
Reikės:
stiklinė 240 ml
450-500 g sluoksniuotos šaldytos bemielės tešlos
225 g (8 oz) kreminio sūrio (Pvz.: „Philadelphia“)
100 g (0,5 stiklinės) balto cukraus
40 g sukapotų graikinių riešutų
5 vidutinio dydžio sunokusių kriaušių
2,5 valg. š. smulkaus rudo cukraus
1 arb. š. cinamono
1 arb. š. vanilinio cukraus arba vanilės ekstrakto
1/3 arb. š. malto muskato
Gaminimas:
